Provisional Psychologist (Specialism: Clinical Neuropsychology)
Qualifications:Chantal completed her Master of Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Amsterdam in 2009. She then went on to complete her PhD in 2013 at the University of Amsterdam on the subject of post-operative delirium. She has presented at various international conferences and is published in international journals.
Chantal has experience working as a psychologist and a research coordinator in both hospital and non-hospital settings. In addition to her work as a provisional psychologist at KCPSYCH she is currently involved in research on cognitive behavioural therapy and Parkinson’s disease.
Approach to Therapy:Chantal believes that clients should feel safe and comfortable to express their thoughts and feelings during therapy, which aids in achieving clients goals and a successful treatment outcome. She believes in using evidence-based techniques like cognitive behavioural therapy, while also being aware of adapting treatment plans to the individual where necessary. She uses a friendly, warm and respectful approach while also being direct and open in her communication.
