Qualifications:
Emma-Leigh has completed a Master of Professional Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland, and is currently completing her Master in Clinical Psychology at Charles Sturt University. Emma-Leigh has experience working with children through to older adults, in a number of settings including community clinics, private practice and occupational rehabilitation, where she has developed a wide array of skills treating a variety of psychological issues. Emma-Leigh also has extensive experience as a group therapist. Emma-Leigh is particularly passionate about the assessment and intervention of: anxiety, depression, ASD, ADHD, stress, coping strategies and emotion regulation.
Approach to Therapy:
Emma-Leigh emphasises the importance of rapport and the therapeutic relationships with clients. Emma-Leigh utilises a variety of evidence based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Play Therapy, Triple P, Family Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy.
