Clinical Psychologist

Tania completed a Bachelor of Behavioural Science and a Master of Clinical Psychology at LaTrobe University, Melbourne.  She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), a Fellow of the APS Clinical College, and an Associate Member of the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST).

Tania has more than 20 years experience working as a consultant psychologist in private practice, public sector mental health and alcohol and drug services, and general practice settings. She works predominately with adults, teenagers and seniors.  She provides services under the Medicare Better Access Scheme, Work Cover and Private Health Insurance.
Approach to Therapy:
Tania uses treatment approaches that are evidence-based and individually tailored to meet a person’s unique needs.  She uses a range of therapies including cognitive behavioural therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, schema therapy, and mindfulness.

Main Areas of Interest:

Tania has specific interests in complex trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, and work-place stress and rehabilitation.  Her approach is very down-to-earth, practical and compassionate, enabling people to learn new skills and confidence, and ways to deal with life’s challenges.
