Veronica began my career began in Integrative Natural Health & Nutrition. Further wanting to understand the mind body connection she completed study in field of human psychology at the University of New England. Studies in health and later psychology were natural progressions assisting her to gain a deep understanding of the correlation between mental health, health and well-being.

Veronica has worked in both rural, regional and urban government held positions in the area of mental health. Later gaining knowledge and experience in the corporate and private sector, working with clients including expats both in Australia and Overseas.
Veronica’s clinical practice is eclectic in nature and based on the most effective and suitable approach to help a person along their journey of life. Veronica achieves this by gaining an in-depth understanding of a person’s presenting issues, identify their unique needs and helping them achieve their desired goals. Veronica’s focus is a person-centered solution-focused approach with a focus on a person’s core beliefs and conditioning. Veronica creates a calm therapeutic space for people, demonstrating empathy, care and support that allows a person to feel accepted and safe.

 
Approach to Therapy:
Veronica’s expertise is in the area of mental health that includes a range of presenting issues including depression and anxiety. Veronica also specializes in workplace issues including helping adults develop resilience, provide strategies to cope with work-place bullying and provides individual coaching to harness a person’s strengths and achieve goals. Veronica is a Nationally Accredited Mediator that allows her to work with people by facilitating a dialogue as a step-in resolving conflict. Evidence based therapies employed by Veronica include Emotion Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Therapy.
