Who We Are
KCPsych is an established Brisbane Psychology and Counselling Service in operation since 2006. KCPSYCH practitioners operate across several locations in North Brisbane. KCPSYCH is a multi disciplinary clinic with a highly educated and experienced team of Psychologists. This may include Clinical Psychology, Child Developmental and Educational Psychology and Health Psychology.
KCPSYCH's vision is to provide a high quality mental health service to all the community. Our mission is to ensure we have a highly qualified team of Psychologists with diverse training, experience and interest to focus on maximising client outcomes through a client centred and individually tailored service in a highly ethical and professional environment.
Our motto “striving to improve the quality of life” means that no matter how big the barriers are or the issues that people face, that making even a small difference by improving the quality of one’s life is continually strived for by our Psychologists
KCPSYCH offers a diverse range of services within the one organisation for convenience, collaboration and cost effectiveness by making more accessible to disadvantaged groups. The services are offered on a sliding fee scale and include individual counselling, free/complementary psychology and health assessment, group programs and assessment and reporting.
KCPSYCH is also involved in working with local organisations in the community to address and meet the mental needs of different client groups. Our service values include the promotion of wellbeing and happiness through a supportive and compassionate counselling environment, providing a highly ethical and professional mental health service which is client centred and individually tailored to the individual needs.
More recently KCPSYCH has expanded services at head office in Nundah and in Strathpine to include an allied health team. The vision is to provide an integrated model of primary health care to the local community. Not only do mental health clients have mental health concerns, they tend to have other health concerns also. This vision allows for addressing the overall health needs of the local community in the one convenient location. This multidisciplinary model of patient management allows for addressing not only the mental health condition, but the broader heath needs of the client
