Michelle has completed a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. She also completed a Bachelor of Science Psychology (Honours) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Science (Behaviour Management) at Bond University in Queensland, Australia.
She is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Michelle has worked in a range of settings including corporate, not for profit organizations, medical settings and in private practice. Michelle has been working in private practice for over 12 years and works with children, young people, adults and older adults.

Michelle is an Approved Brisbane Minds Provider, WorkCover Provider, Medicare and Private Health Insurance and also provides employment services to EAP providers.
Approach to Therapy:
Michelle believes each client is unique and customises her treatment approaches to meet the client’s needs. She is a warm and professional psychologist who wants you to achieve the results you are searching for in your life.
She is trained in cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, applied behaviour analysis, interpersonal therapy, relaxation training & mindfulness, behaviour management, adjustment to injury counselling and other evidence-based treatments.

Main Areas of Interest:

She has a special interest in working with people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Asperger’s), ADHD, LGBTIQ issues, depression, anxiety (including phobias), adjustment issues, and parenting issues.
Michelle works with children as young as 3 years old to older adulthood to assist in achieving positive outcomes in their lives.
