Tasya is a qualified counsellor with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Honours) from Queensland University of Technology and Mumbai University, respectively. She also holds a Master of Counselling from the University of Queensland. Tasya has experience working in various settings, including mental health and community organisations, private practice, telehealth, university counselling, and interprofessional clinics.


Tasya adopts a client-centred approach, viewing each individual as the expert in their own life. She provides a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore challenges and tailors therapy to meet their unique needs. Her practice is inclusive, culturally sensitive, and focuses on empowering clients to achieve self-determined goals.


Tasya specialises in anxiety, stress, depression, relationship difficulties, and self-esteem issues for adults. She also works with children and teenagers on emotional challenges, peer issues, anxiety, and self-esteem, and provides ADHD diagnostic assessments. Her approach integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, Attachment-Focused Therapy, and play therapy for children.
